Area Commander Commends CSP Aboniwonda For Dedication & Professionalism

The Area Commander, Area F Command, ACP Paul Azuka Okafor, has commended the DPO of Alausa Division, CSP Tokunbo Aboniwonda, for her dedication and professionalism in the Nigerian Police. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that ACP Okafor stated this during his official visit to the Division on 13th July, 2024, to  familiarize himself with the stakeholders and lecture the Police officers at the Division on what the Police high authorities under the Inspector General and the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, expected of them while performing their lawful duty.

 

The event was attended by critical stakeholders including three traditional rulers led by the Olu of Alausa, Tony Badmos, representatives of Christ Embassy Church, DCN Ighodalo Kingsley Osazuwa, members of the PCRC led by their Chairman, the representatives of Keystone Bank, Alausa branch, officers of the Nigerian Police among others.

ACP Okafor noted that CSP Aboniwonda has been a hard working female Police officer and had done and successfully carried out some exceptional performances, which marked her out as a professional senior Police officer.

 

He enjoined the Police officers to imbibe the fear of God and always perform their duties with a human face and not to humiliate members of the public while performing their lawful duty.

 

He urged the Police officers to treat members of public with civility and not to drag them to the extreme while performing their lawful duty for them to lose confidence in the Police.

 

On the stakeholders, ACP Okafor thanked them for their support over the years while enjoining them to continue to give support to the Police and have confidence in them in order to encourage them to perform their duties more effectively.

 

He noted that Police officers are humans and could make mistakes while performing their lawful duty and urged the stakeholders to continue to support and encourage them to perform better.

 

The Olu of Alausa, Oba Tony Badmos, also commended the DPO, CSP Aboniwonda for her excellent performance since she resumed duty as DPO of the Division and other officers at the station. He stated that he has been supporting the Police and will continue to support them and enjoined them to call him whenever the Police need his support and assistance.

 

Earlier, in her address, CSP Aboniwonda stated: “I want to say thank you to my CP, Adegoke Fayoade, for believing in me to lead as the DPO, Alausa Division, which happens to be the seat of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Assembly”.

 

“Firstly, we would like to extend a special welcome to our Special Guests today, the man for the reason we are all here, a complete gentleman, Commander, Area F, ACP Okafor.”

 

“The Commander, in fulfillment of the values of policing that the IGP, Dr Kayode Egbetokun and the Lagos CP, Adegoke Fayoade, have professionally and tremendously with hard work and unique approach showed commitment, dedication and passion for the job and putting Lagos State safety of citizens and properties as top priority. Lagos has been moving forward with his unique policing skills and management of top notch security.”

 

“And the commitment to ensuring the total safety and security of Nigeria’s economic capital has never been compromised. kudos to you Sir.”

“It is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you all to this amazing visit. Today is a special day as we gather here to meet our complete gentleman, ACP Paul Okafor.”

 

“May I let you know that this Division of ours is the first he will visit, which means a lot to me personally as we lead, others follow.  The Area Ccommander Sir, may you be pleased to know that Alausa Division borders three areas, Ojodu, Agidingbi, Otedola link bridge, Ikeja Allen Avenue and Opebi link bridge, Ketu, Ojota areas.”

 

“I hope today will inspire ideas, interactions, collective wisdom on how we have done and better we have shown, but best we can do. So help us God.”

I welcome to you too and thank you and want to let you know that you all are courageous, selfless, loyal, friendly, daring, responsive, hard working, determined, ambitious, brave, and hero. Keep the job up and can be best.”
