As COVID-19 Rages On, APC Chieftain, Prince Muhammed Wants Nigerians To Intensify Prayers And Look Unto God
When situation of things get out of hands and it seems there is no solution in sight, prayers to the Almighty God are needed to avert any impending disaster.
This is the solution Prince Hammed Olanrewaju Muhammed believes can be used to stop the spreading of the dreaded novel Coronavirus pandemic which is ravaging the mankind all over the world.
Prince Muhammed, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos Central Senatorial District told P.M. EXPRESS on Sunday that Nigerians should go back to their creator in order to stop the spreading of the deadly disease, even as he called for constant prayers.
According to Prince Muhammed, who is the Senatorial Youth Leader, Lagos Central Senatorial District, for COVID-19 to have held the whole world to ransom, it shows that God wants the mankind to learnt some lessons and draw closer to their creator.
“There are some lessons God wants us to learnt from what is happening across the world since the outbreak of Coronavirus. This disease has awaken the consciousness of the people across all divides in the world. The united effort to stop the spreading of the disease, the brotherliness and the eagerness to see that the pandemic is stopped by everybody point to the fact that if we continue to live our life in unity and be our brother keepers, the world will be the best place to live in,” he said.
Prince Muhammed wants Nigerians to listen and heed to the instructions being passed across by the governments at various levels as regard all precautions that must be observed to contain the spread of COVID-19. He particularly enjoined Lagosians to abide by the instructions of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led Lagos State Government by washing their hands regularly and maintain social distancing.
“I want to let the people know that this Coronavirus is real and we must do everything within our disposal to stop it in Lagos. Our Governor, Mr. Sanwo-Olu has been on top of the situation. What is expected of us as a people is to heed to the instructions the authorities are passing across to us. Even our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has spoken, We should try and stay at home and maintain social distancing to contain the spread of this disease.
“I know that this trying period will soon pass away. We will overcome it and our land will be heal,” Prince Muhammed said.
