Asiwaju Frontliners Honours Hon. Agunsoye With Legislative Leadership Award

It was a glorious day when Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye representing Kosofe Federal  Constituency in Lagos state in the National Assembly bagged Outstanding Legislative Leadership award by a socio-political group, Asiwaju Frontliners recently in Lagos.

During the presentation of the award, Hon. Doyin Johnson, the Director General /National Coordinator of the organization, described Hon. Agunsoye as an outstanding and exemplary leader whose three years in the National Assembly surpassed many who have spent eight years and more years as Federal Legislators.

According to him, “this is not a matter of praise singing, but there are facts and verifiable evidences for all to see. Hon. Agunsoye has raised several motions on Boko Haram sect’s entrance into Nigeria due to our porous border defence, production and sales of sub-standard drinks that have been injurious to the health of Nigerians with many other vital bills and motions on national issues on the floor of House of Representatives.”

Johnson also disclosed how Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye played vital roles in support of the core progressive leadership of the National Assembly, most especially at the Green Chamber to prevent the anti-progressives who fraudulent hijacked the leadership structure of the National Assembly and dragged backward the change agenda of All Progressive Congress (APC).

Agunsoye was rated as one of the outstanding legislators in 2015 -2019 in the National Assembly along with his colleagues from Lagos State, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Hon. Yakub Abiodun Balogun and Hon. Babajimi Benson and few others as first class legislators by their performances.

The Lagos East Senatorial Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Asiwaju Frontliners, Mr. Taiwo Ifeyale, said he has read and heard a lot of good deeds of Hon. Agunsoye in the media, and commended him for his services to better humanity.

Deputy National Secretary of Asiwaju Frontliners, Comrade Mary Idayi,  who is representing Delta State in the National Executive Council of the organization, appreciated Hon. Agunsoye for his down to heart kindness, maturity and selfless services to humanity. He urged the lawmaker not to relent but strive at all times to do more at the National Assembly when he go for his second term in the National Assembly come 2019.

The award recipient, Hon. Agunsoye, appreciateed the leadership and the entire members of the organisation nationwide and promise to perform more better in his service to humanity even as he looks forward to the general election in 2019.

He said he wouldn’t have achieved more in his political career if not for following the footsteps of his mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been his role model, adding that the workaholic Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, is his Principal, whom he has learnt a lot under his tutelage.

“I want to dedicate this award to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Hon. Bayo Osinowo and the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency, ” he said.

Hon. Agunsoye prayed that may Almighty God keep and strengthen the organization.
