There is a serious fight playing out between Pastor Uche Okereke of the Assemblies of God Church, Iyana Ipaja branch and his teenage daughter, Chioma over her lover, Sadiq Moruf.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the fight which started at Igando police division and moved to a Lagos court came to the climax when Chioma told her dad to his face in the open court that she is seriously attached to the relationship as she was already pregnant for Moruf.
According to P.M.EXPRESS findings, Moruf, 19 and Chioma, 17 have been dating for the past five years to the extent that Chioma abandoned her education at secondary school level and started living with Moruf, a fashion designer and of the Muslim Faith, in their family house.
According to Rev. Okeke, he has tried for those years to search and bring Chioma back to his house to continue her education to no avail.
“For the past five years, I have been looking for Chioma and did not see her until last week when information got to me where Moruf  was hiding her and have changed to the Muslim faith.”
She was rescued while Moruf was arrested by the Police and detained at the station.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that at the Station, Moruf was accused of abducting Chioma.
The girl debunked the allegation against her boyfriend and told the police that Moruf did not abduct her and that they have been lovers for years and have agreed to marry each other.
However, the police charged and brought Moruf to be arraigned before Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo with the alleged offence where Chioma made the remark in the court room.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola declined to take the Moruf plea and referred them to family court. Moruf was taken back to the Igando station where he will be taken to the family court as directed by the court.
