At Ehingbeti Economic Summit 2022: Young Entrepreneurs Tell Stories Of How Lagos Impacted Their Life

To many Nigerian youths, the city of Lagos means a lot to them in terms of how they have been able to use opportunities of the city to change their fortunes.

Thia is the story of five Nigerian youths who have the chance of featuring in the Fireside Chat with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit 2022.

The 2022 Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit, which is holding at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victrola Island gives Sandra Chukwudozie, Forbes 30 entrepreneur, Akin Alabi, CEO, Corporate Farmer International CEO, Tolulope Makinde, winner of the digital activation material inclusivity, Toluwakin Olowofoyeku (Kugali boy) and Sean Burrowess of Ingress For Good the opportunity to have one-on-chat with Governor Sanwo-Olu.

To Sandra Chukwdozie, she has no regret leaving a plum career in the United States to travel down to Lagos, as she is happy today that Lagos has indeed brought out the ‘diamond’ in her.

According to her, Lagos also gives her the audacity to survive and thrive in the midst of challenges.

Akin Alabi, CEO of Corporate Farmers commended the attention the government of Babajide Sanwo-Olu is given to agriculture, adding that with annual consumption of about N5-6 billion worth of food in Lagos, the need to concentrate more on agriculture driven by technology should be given priority attention.

Olowofoyeku said that Lagos is a good soil where opportunities thrive. He called on the Nigerian youths to be in charge, adding that seating on the fence would further undermine their potentials to become somebody in the society.

While commending the young entrepreneurs for being bold enough to be testimonies of what Lagos could do one the life of its citizens, Governor Sanwo-Olu said his government has been playing the role of enabler of good environment for businesses to thrive and for the people to achieve their heart desires.

He said his administration would further strengthen the communication strategy that will put the youths in the heart of its development policies.

He assured that the government would also think outside the box to look out for new sector in order to give every Lagosian the opportunity to exhibit his or her God-given talents.
