August Meeting: Hon. Amaka Obi Urges Women To Work In Unity & Embrace Healthy Living

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili), has urged women to work in unity and embraced healthy living championed by Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo.

The Council boss made the statement when she joined umu nwanyi Awka-Etiti and Nkpor in their annual August meeting, noting that working in unity will bring more progress and development.

She maintained that women plays a major role in the family, state and the country, and if there is disunity among themselves, it will affect the progress and development.

She further pleaded them to embrace healthy living championed by Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo, urging them to cut down on processed and chemicalised foods.

In her remark, Awka-Etiti community women leader, Lolo Chioma Brown Okafor commended Hon. Amaka Obi for her developmental strides especially in human capital development, stating that she is the only Transition Committee Chairman in Idemili South that has empowered women and youths of the council area. She said that umu nwanyi Awka-Etiti will continue supporting Anambra State Government ably led by Professor Charles Soludo.

Vote of appreciation was given by Mrs Chinelo Ikezue who applauded Hon. Amaka Obi for leaving her busy schedule to join umu nwanyi Nkpor in their August meeting.
