COSEYL Commends Senator Kalu For Laying Foundation Of First Solar Factory In South East & South South

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone, a dedicated advocate for economic development and sustainable solutions in Nigeria, has extended extended its heartfelt commendation to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Distinguish Senator representing Abia North Senatorial Zone at the Red Chambers, for laying the foundation for the first solar factory in the South East and South South of Nigeria, located in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
In a statement signed by Comrade Goodluck Ibem, President General, the group said, “This landmark initiative marks a significant milestone not only for the state but also for the region as it embraces renewable energy solutions and fosters economic growth. The establishment of the solar factory is poised to create numerous job opportunities for the local populace, thereby enhancing the livelihood of the people and contributing to economic development”.
“The shift towards solar energy is not just a progressive step towards sustainability but also reflects a commitment to diversifying Nigeria’s economy and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Additionally, this investment epitomizes a visionary approach to harnessing the region’s potential for technological advancement and clean energy production.”
