Banking Mogul, Tony Elumelu Named In 2020 Ebony Power 100 List

Nigerian banking mogul and Philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, has been named in the 2020 Ebony Power 100 trailblazers’ list.

The United States-based influential Ebony Magazine listed Elumelu among other influential Blacks in the list published Wednesday February 26.

Elumelu was named in recognition of his influence, accomplishments and philanthropy.

The annual Ebony Power 100 List recognises individuals who have had a positive impact on the African-American community.

The 2020 list captures individuals in the following categories: Community Crusaders, Doing It For The Culture, Power Couples, Excellence In Media, Social Justice, Shining Stars, Titans of Industry, Trailblazers, Women Up and MVPs.

Also named alongside Elumelu on the trailblazers’ list is Mary Winston, President of WinsCo Enterprises Inc; Michael Kyser, President of Black Music for the Atlantic Records Group; Louis Carr, President of Media Sales, BET Networks; and Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, The Impact Network.

Boxing champion, Deontay Wilder, and tennis champion, Coco Gauff, are on the MVPs list.
