Resource person and Human Rights Activist, Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, has counseled Nigerian women not only to be catalysts and indispensable instruments for positive change but also sources of peace, love, joy and unity in their homes and the society at large.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Ezekwueme made the remarks in a public lecture he delivered to Women In Civil Society in commemoration of  2020 International Women’s Day.
“It is of prime importance to note that women are unique and precious. In every successful family and nation, immense contributions from womenfolk are not only necessary but indispensable.”

Comrade Ezekwueme, who is also Chairman of Civil Liberties Organisation, Anambra State branch, reiterated his earlier advice to women to give wise and useful advice to their husbands in authority as it will certainly reduce monumental corruption in the country.
“I wish to appeal to political parties and the political class to make case for more women participation in politics in order to hasten the much needed rapid transformation and development of Nigeria.”
“It is pertinent to give equal opportunity to womenfolk to enable them showcase their full potentials and contribute immensely toward actualisation of the Nigeria of our dreams, hopes and aspirations.”
“It is of great relevance to note that an equal world is an enabled world; accord women their rights, respect, privileges and honour as the best and greatest gift to mark 2020 International Women’s Day” Ezekwueme posited.
