Bet9ja Ekiti Football League: Final Phase Gets Date

All is now set for for the final showdown in the Bet9ja sponsored Ekiti State Football League, as the organizers have announced date for the final phase of the competition that began in August with 60 teams drawn from different parts of the state.

In a statement released by the organising committee led by Olabayo Badmos, the four teams that topped the four groups namely, Moyero fc, Soccer Academy, Igede, Ifaki United fc and EKSU Galacticos have been paired to engage each other in the final playoffs to be played at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

According to the release, in the final showdown slated for October 11, Group A winners, Moyero FC will tackle Ifaki United who topped Group B, while Group C winners Soccer Academy, Igede, would also do battle with EKSU Galacticos, who topped Group D for a place in the grand finale that comes up two days later on October 13.

The champions are expected to go home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of N500,000, as well as the ticket to represent Ekiti State in the NLO 3 play offs coming up later in the month, while the second and third placed teams will receive N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.
