Betway Launches New TVC Targeting Women

Posted on August 6, 2020

Premium online entertainment company and headline sponsor of  Big Brother Naija, Betway has recently released a brand new ad campaign that celebrates female players on its platform.

The ad is quite simple and straight to the point and is aimed at female bettors.

It starts with a young attractive couple seen to be having a silent tussle for the remote.

The man changes the TV station to a football match and lets his girlfriend know that his team is currently playing a match.

Yet while he is chagrined at his team’s loss, his lady is excited because she is cashing out on the games she is playing on the Betway platform.

The ad ended by directly addressing women, detailing that Betway had many other games that would speak to feminine interests.

Betway’s newest ad aims to change the narrative of the traditional marketing communications by betting and gaming brands, which are usually exclusively male focused and based on stereotypical masculine activities.

With this seemingly simple ad, Betway shows that their products  are open to both men and women, while showcasing the wide array of games the company has to offer its customer base.
