The management and staff of BlackHouse Media (BHM) have congratulated Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, on her election as the 34th president of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

On January 1, 2024, Margaret Oguntala officially became the first female president in the 65-year history of the NSE.

The Founder and CEO of BHM, Ayeni Adekunle, describes Oguntala as an astute professional with an impressive track record and contributions across engineering practice, academia, and policymaking.

“Over the years, the NSE has been pivotal in shaping national policy, providing a collective voice for Nigerian engineers, and delivering exceptional service to members. Eng. Oguntala’s impressive track record and contributions across engineering practice, academia, and policymaking make her immensely qualified to lead this esteemed professional body.

“Her successful election by this body of distinguished professionals is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence, her leadership, and her dedication to the engineering community in Nigeria. It is therefore incredibly rewarding to see her take on this significant leadership role,” he says.
