There was a devastating incident, which shook the community in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, as 16-year old Ayibanua Timipre was found dead, hanging from a ceiling fan in his father’s residence in Kpansia area.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the young boy, a native of Igbomotoru Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, was discovered with the rope still attached to the fan after his body was retrieved.
Shocked residents wondered what could have been behind Timipre’s tragic decision. There has been all manner of speculations in the community.
Some residents believed that the alleged theft of ₦27,000 from his family’s home, and subsequent punishment from his parents, may have driven him to despair. Others however, remember Timipre as a quiet and well-liked individual who was pursuing a passion for mobile phone repair in the community.
