Bright Future Beckons For Timothy In Israeli League

Having shown great prospects while on trials with Bnei Lod , an Israeli second division, where he was eventually offered a deal, Timothy Atamenwan has been very impressive in the three games he featured so far in the Under 19 side in the league.
Timo, as he is fondly called, has scored two goals from his position as an attacking midfielder and also created three assists for his teammates to score and he is the rave of the moment now in Israeli football.
The product of Dante Academy in Abuja left the shores of this country late July having shown brightly in a football talent hunt in Abuja organised by an internationally renowned football agent in conjunction with Dante Football Academy. He is the latest export from the vast football talent in the most populous country in Africa.
Speaking to PM Express in Abuja, Dantala Adamu, the proprietor of Dante Football Academy said that he is excited with the performance of the midfielder in the few games he has played so far in the Israeli league and he believes the player will develop to become a great football star in the future.
” I am happy for Timo, the player from my academy after he signed for Bnei Lot, but I am even happier that he has adapted fully to the challenge of playing outside the country and he is doing fine in the Israeli league with the games he has played so far”, Dantala said.
The 19 year old left footed midfielder was in devastating form last weekend for Bnei Lod where he played 80 mins, scoring the second goal and creating two assists in the 7-0 demolition of Hapoel Marmurek FC in the Israeli second division.
