Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, said President Muhammadu Buhari, would soon meet leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to address the problems in the party.

Okorocha, who is also the Chairman of Progressive Governors, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja after a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the House of Representatives.

He told newsmen that he was in the house to discuss issues that affected the county and the party, and on how to unite party members and move the nation forward.

He said that members of the party were the “foot soldiers’’ that worked hard to actualise change, adding that change was, therefore, dear to them.

Okorocha assured that the APC would not fail and would remain the ruling party.

He, however, said that that the party’s victory at the general elections had not been well managed, but stated that the gulf among angry members would be bridged.

The governor said that he had dialogued with the National Working Committee of the party, members in the Senate and House of Representatives and was certain that there would be light at the end of the tunnel.

He assured of the emergence of a brand new APC, which would support the president and governors to move the nation forward.

He denied that his visit was connected to the $30 billion loan request by the president, adding that if the relationship between the executive and legislature was cordial, “all other things will fall into place’’.
