Buruj Boys Set To Overrun Manchester Futsal, Brits Academy

Buruj Sports Academy will open their account of this year’s English International Super Cup when they confront Manchester Futsal in their first group game commencing from 1.00pm.
The players and officials, who arrived in England in the early hours of Tuesday, quickly settled down to rest their body and mind ahead what promises to be a tough encounter against a side that is based in Manchester, the host city and will be banking on home support to stop the defending champions.
Later, in the same day, according to the fixtures released by the organizers Team Tours Direct, the Nigerian representatives will square up against another Group A opponents, Brits Academy with hope to stay in a poll position to make it to the next stage.
While previewing the opening games, the CEO of Buruj Sports Academy, Salaudeen Waheed, was confident his boys are battle ready, saying everything they will need to give their best in terms of logistics and technical preparations are already in place.
He also thanked Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi (The Iya Adura 1) for what he described as her moral, spiritual and financial support ahead of the commencement of the tournament.
Also speaking is the team captain, Noah Salaudeen, who is not new to the competition having featured in all previous outing and even emerge as top scorer on a couple of occasions.
“We are ready to win our first game because it is very important. This will put us good mood to go all the way and defend our title. Again, as individuals, we want to prove a point so that we can maximize the opportunity of participation,” he posited.
