Buruj Sports Academy CEO, Dr. Waheed Salaudeen Marks Birthday In Transit To London

The Chief Executive Officer of renowned Buruj Football Club and Sports Academy, Dr. Waheed Salaudeen, is marking his birthday today while on transit to London.

 

Dr. Salaudeen, who has played a key role in developing young football talents in Nigeria, described the moment as a special one — celebrating life while embarking on another journey of purpose.

In a birthday message, the Buruj FC boss expressed gratitude to God for life, grace and opportunities.

“Today, I celebrate another beautiful year of life, and I’m grateful to God for His grace, protection, wisdom, and the opportunities He continues to give me,” he said.

“What makes this birthday even more special is that I’m celebrating while on transit to London — another journey, another chapter, and another opportunity to keep building the dreams God has placed in my heart.”

As CEO of Buruj Football Club and Buruj Sports Academy, Dr. Salaudeen said he remains thankful for the privilege of shaping the next generation of footballers and creating pathways for young talents to thrive locally and internationally.

The academy has in recent years gained recognition for combining football development with education, and for exposing players to opportunities abroad, including summer camps and trials in Europe.

Looking ahead, Dr. Salaudeen prayed for greater impact in the new year of his life.

“May this new age bring greater wisdom, bigger achievements, stronger impact, good health, happiness, and countless reasons to be grateful.
