Buruj Sports Academy Stars Making Progress With Boreham Wood FC In UK.

Following their admission into the youth team of Boreham Wood Football Club in August, Buruj Sports Academy trio, Noah Salaudeen, Akuba Ignatius and Abubakar Abdulsalam are making remarkable progress. 
The English Football League side are participating in different youth tournaments to give players who came through their acclaimed Boreham Wood PASE Academy opportunity to develop their talent and live their dreams of playing professionally in Europe.
In their latest match,  Boreham Wood defeated Crystal Palace youth at place Home, impressive performance while their under 18 team featuring Noah also secured a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace Academy.
Noah who came in the second half of the encounter made great impact and impressed the coaching crew. His long strike was parried by Crystal Palace Goalkeeper before his team scored from the rebound. Noah’s contributions on the pitch was commended by the handlers.
Reacting to development, the Chief Executive Officer of Buruj Sports Academy, Dr Salaudeen Waheed said the trio have been good ambassadors of the academy and inspiration to other upcoming players.
In his words: “I’m not only pleased with the reports about their performances with the youth team but their conducts off the pitch has also encourage me to take another 2 or 3 players to Boreham Wood Football Club. If the trio continue to play well and keep their heads down, they will open doors for their teammates who are still in Buruj Sports Academy”.
While revealing plans by the management of Lagos based academy to embark on another playing tour later this month, Dr Salaudeen stated that scouts who watched the team at the English International Super Cup in Manchester have been contacted.
“Hopefully before the end of this month, we will have more of our boys playing in the other English clubs academies and youth teams because are preparing for another playing tour” Dr Salaudeen said.
It will be recalled that Buruj Sports Academy, Nigeria’s sole representative at the International youth tournament won the English Super Cup in the United Kingdom last month.
