Business & Investment Summit: Nigerian Embassy In Bujumbura Invites Interested Nigerians And Burundian Investors To Register

The Nigerian Embassy in Burundi has invited Nigerians and Burundians, who want to explore the many economic and investment opportunities available between the two African Nations to contact the embassy for registration.

The Nigerian Embassy in Bujumbura announced this recently when the Head of the Nigerian Mission, Amb Elijah Onyeagba PhD, received in audience Dr Rurema Deo-Guide PhD, the Honourable Minister for Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Burundi.

At the meeting, Amb. Elijah Onyeagba revealed that the maiden edition of NIGERIA-BURUNDI BUSINESS & INVESTMENT SUMMIT will be centered on investment collaborations in the Agricultural Sector. This will involve fertiliser production, mechanised farming and models for turning agricultural produce to finished and exportable goods under AfCFTA. 

The Nigerian Diplomat called on interested partners in other sectors like Tourism, Mining, Real Estate, Commerce, Entertainment and ICT to also participate.
Interested investors are to contact the Embassy of Nigeria in Burundi to register. 

It will be recalled that recently, Nigeria signed the Nigeria-Burundi Joint Commission. The Economic Summit is definitely one of the positive results of the Joint Commission. The event which will take place simultaneously later this year in Burundi and Nigeria is aimed at providing detailed information for prospective investors.
