Campaign Of Calumny Against Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila Should Stop – Says SYF

The leadership of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, SYF, has said that their members are compelled to react to unfounded, deliberate and malicious  campaign of calumny against the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR and former Speaker of the House of Representatives. 
In a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Emeni Ibe, the SYF said, “Our attention has been drawn to alleged false and malicious defamatory articles and publications against the Chief of Staff to the President”.
“We consider them baseless, false and unsubstantiated. We wish to categorically state that the Chief of Staff to the President is creditably performing his duties in line with the vision of Mr. President. The Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria had commended Mr. President for his appointment because he is qualified in all ramifications.”
“We therefore, dismiss the campaign of calumny against the Chief of Staff to the President as a deliberate attempt to get at Mr. President by portraying the COS as fraudulent, corrupt, dishonest, unreliable and a disloyal person, who is unfit to hold the exalted office of the Chief of Staff to the President.”
“While congratulating Mr. President for his one year in office, the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria appeals to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ignore all the unfounded publications by one Segun Olatunji, the Editor of FirstNews and others as spurious allegations. We will not allow detractors to continue to pull down of our leaders by any means they deem fit.”
