A 20-year old lady, Titilope Murayo, who aided her lover, Tunde, a criminal suspect, to escape from Police net, has insisted that she will not assist the Police in their bid to arrest him because he takes good care of her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Murayo stated it clearly to the Police at Ejigbo Division led by CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, that she will not assist them in their efforts to arrest her lover, Tunde, because the Police cannot treat her better than Tunde was doing to her.
However, her aiding and preventing the Police from carrying out their lawful duty have landed Murayo in trouble.
She was arrested and charged before the Court and remanded in prison custody for conspiracy and obstruction and assault on one Police officer, identified as Lucky Osazemwinde, in the process.

The incident happened at Jakande Gate in Ejigbo area of Lagos, where the Police operatives tracked Tunde but Murayo obstructed Police and Tunde escaped.
It was gathered that Tunde had been on the Police wanted list after he allegedly stole a phone belonging to one Christopher Chukwudi and withdrew about N500,000 from the owner’s account.
The Police eventually tracked him to his location but Murayo ensured that he escaped by attacking the Police operatives aiding Tunde’s eventual escape.
She was asked to produce or lead the Police to Tunde’s house but she refused insisting that she will not assist the Police because Tunde treats her well and she cannot betray him.
She was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked the Court to fix a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the offence.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O. Shomade, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 5th November, 2019, for mention.
