Capacity Building: Agege LG Boss, Vinod Obasa Sponsors Councilors To International Seminar In UK

The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. AbdulGaniyu Vinod Obasa has moved to strengthen the legislative arm of the council by sponsoring the legislators to attend a capacity building seminar at United Kingdom.

The vibrant Agege Council Mayor has advised the legislators to “think globally and act locally” in order to equip them with necessary exposure and knowledge needed to carry our their legislative functions.

Speaking at the presentation of certificate of participation; on behalf of other councillors, the Leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Haruna Adeshina thank the chairman for his support towards strengthening the legislators, describes him as a leader that encourages others to expand their scope of knowledge.

Commenting on the theme of the seminar “Leadership, Legislative and Good Governance”, he confirms that the
impact of the knowledge acquired would go along way to assist them improve on their service to Agege Local government.
