CF Motril Celebrates As Former Buruj FC Player, Samson Ubong Joins Spanish Segunda Side Granada FC

CF Motril is celebrating as former Buruj FC player, Samson Ubong, joins Spanish second-division club, Granada FC, on Thursday, 27th May, 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his football career.
Samson Ubong left Buruj Football Academy for Berja CF in Spain before moving to Motril CF, where he delivered impressive performances between 2024 and 2025.
The forward has been a standout player in the Spanish fourth division, with his overall contributions for CF Motril earning widespread recognition.
He has scored a total of seven goals and provided four assists, highlighting his significant growth and development in Spanish football.
Ubong caught the attention of Granada FC, leading to his move to the Segunda side in a major career leap from the fourth division. CF Motril celebrated his achievement by posting his picture on their official social media handles, praising his talent, hard work, discipline, and dedication as key factors behind his career progression.
Granada FC currently sits in 8th place in the Spanish Segunda and remains in contention for a promotion spot to La Liga ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
