Chief Felix Idiga Formally Withdraws From House Of Reps Race
GREG NWADIKE

The foremost contender for the Orlu/Orsu/Oru-East Federal House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Felix Chidi Idiga also known as JAFAC has withdrawn from the race.
This was formally disclosed to Greg Nwadike on Sunday night by Chief Idiga himself, informing that he has been engaged in a higher task for the President and the nation at large.
Idiga who was reported recently as emerging the Chairman of the Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN); a body many believe is a replication of the 2015 trended Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) said he had to drop his local ambition for the good and interest of the country.
“In recent weeks GOGAN has been very busy unfolding and developing its programs and activities. This has been challenging to me as the Official Unveiling of the body comes up on the 30th of this month, and thereafter I will be highly preoccupied with so many tours around the country and beyond.
“If truth must be told, you can see that there is no way I can make out time for my Federal House of Reps ambition, and it won’t be nice to prevent other aspirants the opportunity to test their popularity. So, the ideal thing at this moment is to announce my withdrawal and conconcentrate on the assignments for my President and my country”, he clarified.
He however assured that he would be strongly involved and supportive of any reasonable candidate who emerged from Orlu for the seat to ensure that the Constituency produced the right person to represent it at the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
The Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN)’s national unveiling, Investiture and Declaration of Support For President Muhammadu Buhari will hold by 12.00 noon at the Conference Centre of the Nigeria Airforce, Jahi District, Abuja on July 30th.
GOGAN will thereafter commence series of national tours and mobilization of supports for the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration with special emphasis on marketing of credits of the President.
