We appeal to our dear President, to out of his magnanimity as father of the nation, approve special fund to tackle erosion menace in state.” “Pertinently in view of the urgency of the pathetic condition to direct his Honourable Minister of Environment to pay working visits to the state for on the spot assessment of the despicable and detestable situation. It is unfortunate and painful that the erosion sites are expanding and deepening due to flooding and torrential downpour.” “We commend him for aggressive rehabilitating of decrepit Onitsha -Enugu Road, Second Niger Bridge. It is of prime importance to note that the State and citizenry will remain eternally grateful to you if such good gesture is extended to 3-3-Otuocha, Onitsha-Owerri, Okija-Ihiala-Oguta roads.” “We commend him for completing Zik’s Mausoleum and appeal to his Excellency President Buhari to declare Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe’s birthday as a National Holiday as appreciation for his sacrifices towards Nigeria’s Independence and unity of our country.”
“Similarly, we solicit for refund of remaining money the state spent on Federal roads in the state” the group stated.
