Comrade Chijioke Decorated As Lagos Commandant Of NDLEA Ambassadors

The Royal Line Social Welfare Foundation, otherwise known as the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA Ambassadors, has decorated the group’s National Director of Welfare, Comrade Ugochukwu D.N Chijioke, as the Lagos State Commandant.

The decoration ceremony which took place recently at the auditorium of the Holy Ghost Church of Christ Ministries, Ajegunle, Ikorodu, Lagos had several dignitaries in attendance which included Prophet Dr. J Ife Akinse (The President-General), Archbishop Dr. J.O Ehindero (Chief Adviser), Evang. Barr. Happiness Elendu (General Secretary)and Bishop Chaplain Emeka Adolphus Iloh, NDLEA Ambassador and Bishop of All Souls for Christ Kingdom Church Int’l.

The newly decorated Ambassador who remains the General Overseer of Holy Ghost Church of Christ Ministries, during his welcome address, expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve in great capacities as an NDLEA Ambassador. He further appreciated the hierarchy of the RLSWF for finding him worthy of a huge position, extending salutations to all those who filled the auditorium just to celebrate him.

He used the moment to assure the group that he will put in his best as Lagos State Commandant to uphold the vision of the foundation which is to combat drug abuse and related crimes. Comrade Chijioke also promised to do everything possible within his operational jurisdiction to ensure that the welfare of officers (ambassadors) is guaranteed.

The President-General, Comrade Ife Akinse, when speaking emphasized that the fight against drugs abuse which is prevalent in our society requires a counselling and a process of psychological therapy/rehabilitation, separate from the use of force and fire-arms. He congratulated the newly decorated and charged him to be exemplary in the discharge of his duties; warning that Lagos Command is a peculiar environment with multiple cases of drugs related crimes.

Archbishop Dr. J.O Ehindero, Chief Adviser to the ambassadors similarly asked Comrade Chijioke to be up and doing, particularly as the nation expects so much from the NDLEA ambassadors, especially now that the problems from hard drugs are ravaging the land. He also noted that no person with questionable traits can be an ambassador of the NDLEA.

Bishop Emeka Iloh equally buttressed the need for Comrade Chijioke to maintain integrity in the face of mounting challenges. He reminded him that one of the significant criteria for belonging to the Royal Line Social Welfare Foundation is integrity and social distinctiveness. Iloh used the occasion to announce his readiness to complement the works of the Lagos Commandant through strategic supports and initiatives.

A close ally of Comrade Chijioke, who is also a charismatic Ambassador, Evang. Barr. Happiness Elendu, closed the chat by describing him as a man of honour who will never rest on his oars in pursuing the core objectives for which the NDLEA ambassadors were created.
