According to him, the book reinforces the need for continuous civic engagement, responsible leadership, and the protection of democratic institutions.

Comrade Dauda further emphasized that the lessons from the book align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly in strengthening democratic governance, promoting national unity, and ensuring that the sacrifices of past heroes of democracy are not forgotten. He encouraged public office holders, students, and political actors to read the book and draw lessons that will help deepen Nigeria’s democratic culture.
