Comrade Dauda Calls On Ikeja Residents To Urgently Apply For Federal Government’s NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative
The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has called on unemployed and unskilled residents of Ikeja to take advantage of the ongoing National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3 registration.
Comrade Dauda described the programme as a timely intervention by the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, aimed at equipping Nigerians with practical, demand-driven skills that will enhance employability, promote entrepreneurship and create sustainable means of livelihood.
The Chairman urged interested youths, women and other unemployed residents to register immediately, noting that the initiative offers free training in several high-impact sectors, including:
* Agricultural Trade
* Entrepreneurship Development
* Vocational Skills
* Renewable Energy Training
According to him, the programme is designed not only to reduce unemployment but also to empower participants with skills that can make them self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic growth.
“This is a golden opportunity for our unemployed youths and other residents to acquire valuable skills that can transform their future. I encourage every eligible resident of Ikeja Local Government to take advantage of this initiative before the registration closes,” AKOD said.
