Comrade Dauda Charges Youths On Leadership, Participation & Self-Development

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), yesterday participated as a panelist at the LASUTH Youth Forum One-Day Symposium held at the MRC Auditorium, LASUTH.
Speaking during the panel session on Youth Governance and Participation in Politics, Comrade Dauda encouraged young people to actively engage in leadership, community development, and the democratic process, stressing that the future of society rests on the quality of its youth involvement today.
He further noted that youths are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also part of the decision-makers of today. He cited the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an example of youth inclusion in governance, highlighting the appointment of young Nigerians to key leadership positions across the country.
The Council Chairman also commended the LASUTH Youth Forum for organizing a platform that promotes knowledge sharing, mentorship, and youth empowerment, while urging participants to remain focused, purposeful, and committed to personal growth and national development.
Comrade Dauda was presented with an Award of Appreciation in recognition of his valuable contributions, inspiring words, and unwavering commitment to youth development.
