Comrade Dauda Hosts Monthly Prayer Session With Ikeja League Of Imams

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today hosted the monthly prayer session with the Ikeja League of Imams at Ikeja House.

The prayer gathering, which has become a regular feature of the AKOD administration, was attended by the Secretary to the Local Government, Prince Adeyinka Illo, Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers, and other government officials.

During the session, the League of Imams offered special prayers for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Ikeja Local Government, Lagos State, and Nigeria. They also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Comrade Dauda as he continues to lead the affairs of the local government.

The Imams commended Comrade Dauda for his commitment to good governance, people-oriented leadership, and for leading with the fear of God. encouraged him to remain steadfast in his service to the people and continue his efforts towards the development of Ikeja.

 

In his remarks, the Council Chairman expressed profound appreciation to the League of Imams for their unwavering spiritual support, prayers, and dedication to the growth of Ikeja. He also acknowledged their invaluable role in shaping communities across Ikeja through their moral guidance, teachings, and commitment to promoting peace, unity, and good values.
