Comrade Emeni Ibe Condemns Killing Of Ahoada DPO

The President General Orashi National Congress, Most Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe, has condemned in strong terms the atrocious act after he received with utmost sadness the news about the killing of SP Bako Angbashim, the Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada Police Division, Rivers State, by suspected cultists.
Reacting to the incident, Comrade Emeni Ibe stated that he was shocked to learn that the late DPO was in uniform and on operational duties when some alleged cultists captured and beheaded him.
“This dastardly and barbaric act has no place in modern history and therefore, should be eschewed to allow peace and orderliness to reign in our society. Attacks on Police personnel or Military, or even civilians are unacceptable and totally condemnable.”
“Service personnels should not be deterred from carrying out their lawful duties diligently and professionally, despite the gruesome murder of SP Bako Angbashim” Comrade Ibe said.
In line with the mood of the people,
The National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria prayed for the repose of SP Bako Angbashim’s soul, while condoling his immediate family, friends and well-wishers and the Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force.
