Posted on September 25, 2022
A High Court in Birnin Kebbi has sacked executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Justice Sabi’u Shaibu, who passed the judgement on Friday, said he granted the prayers sought by 43 aggrieved members of the party in a motion file before the Court.
The sacked members were Alhaji Bello Suru (Chairman), Alhaji Abubakar Bawa Kalgo (Secretary) and the Treasurer.
Earlier, the plaintiff, the Alhaji Abdulmalik Haliru a.k.a Milton, had requested for an order setting aside purported congresses held at Wards, Local Government areas and the State Executive Committees.
Haliru also indicated that the aggrieved members sought an order dismissing the purported preliminary objection for constituting a flagrant abuse of the process of the court.
