Notice Of A Looming Danger And Likely Bloodshed.

Mr. Governor, this is to call your attention to a matter needing immediate action.

The footage and video clip will tell more how it will be if a vehicle misses its way into the side of the traders, who have decided to take their wares to the expressway. They are not only endangering their lives but also constituting nuisance, which is affecting other road users.

The footage is Cele Bus Stop, on Oshodi-Mile 2 Expressway, where officials from the Local Government, KAI, and other agencies come to collect money from. My Governor, some officials of the Lagos agency are seriously sabotaging your effort on making Lagos the best and pacesetting state.

The rampant collection of bribes from roadside traders and commercial buses/bikes have encouraged lawlessness along that axis.

Sir, take your investigative team to Ikotun roundabout, Ketu bus stop, Yaba bus stop and Ikorodu roundabout, then you will agree with me that (owo olopa, owo KAI and owo LASTMA), those sent to make sure things work well are there for their personal pockets, and it is affecting the output of the state at large because people waste more time in traffic, which results to economic loss.

Yes, we have KAI, Police, and LASTMA, but these people are only out to make money, not minding what other road users are passing through daily. I plead that you pay attention to the aforementioned areas and have the menace nipped in the bud.

May the Almighty continue to strengthen you and your team as you work towards Greater Lagos!

Godwin Nkemakonam,

Yaba, Lagos.
