DAAR Awards: Oyetola Named As Outstanding Leader In Governance

The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has been named the nation’s Outstanding Leader in Governance, by DAAR Communications PLC, the custodian of African Independent Television (AIT) and Ray Power 100.5FM.

In a letter signed by the Group Managing Director of the organisation, Mr Tony Akiotu, DAAR Communications attributed Oyetola’s emergence for the honour to his assiduous efforts to attain an unprecedented level of citizens welfare in the State.

“We are pleased to Your Excellency that following a painstaking nomination and selection process, you have emerged as an Outstanding Leader in Governance for working assiduously to attain an unprecedented level of citizens welfare in the State of Osun”, the letter read in part.

Oyetola, who is set to receive the award during the fourth edition of the DAAR Awards in Abuja on December 6, was described as an ingenious and purpose-driven manager of men and resources.

“The prestigious DAAR Awards bring together an array of people from all walks of life. Indeed, it is a celebration of excellence and positive contributions to the advancement of society, and Your Excellency stands out as an ingenious and purpose-driven Manager of men and resources”, it was added.
