Posted on June 1, 2025

Following three days of immersive digital experiences, empowering workshops, and vibrant engagements, MTN Go MAD on Campus with MTN Pulse at the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) concluded with a grand musical spectacle: the ‘as concert, which ran from May 27th to 29th, 2025, culminated in an absolutely breathtaking concert that left students buzzing with excitement.

With an explosive burst of lights and a wave of thunderous applause, Nigeria’s very own D’Banj stormed the stage. From the very first beat, he seized control, injecting an unparalleled level of energy.

Adding to the excitement, D’Banj didn’t just perform; he engaged the students directly. He invited participants from the audience to perform his songs live on stage.

For their enthusiastic participation, he generously awarded each of these students the sum of ₦50,000.

The highlight of this interactive session came when a talented winner from the Faculty of Art received a grand prize of ₦250,000, personally presented by D’Banj, further emphasising the spirit of empowerment and reward.

This wasn’t just a concert; it was a powerful affirmation of the Go MAD spirit. The grand finale was a testament to MTN’s profound commitment to Nigeria’s youth.

As the last notes faded and the lights dimmed, a resounding feeling of jubilation and inspiration lingered.

D’Banj didn’t just entertain; he electrified, he uplifted, and he perfectly encapsulated the celebratory spirit of the MTN Go MAD Campus Invasion, making it an unforgettable night that solidified UniAbuja’s experience as a true highlight of the nationwide tour.

The initiative is committed to reaching students where they are, and while Abuja is our starting point, it will be expanding to other campuses. The innovation was successful with the support of LG, Audiomack, Betamalt, and CREAM.
