Deji Tinubu To Be Buried Tuesday

The burial of Mr. Deji Tinubu, the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce, who died on Thursday has been slated for Tuesday, January 30.

According to the funeral programme released by the family, the late Sports aficionado’s  final journey will begin on Sunday, January 28 at 10.00am with the Muslim prayers at his residence at Isiola Oyekan Close, off Adeleke Adedoyin Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This will be followed by a Service of Songs at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos on Monday January 29 at 5.00pm

He will also be lying-in-State at the same RCCG, City of David , Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday, January 30 at 9.30am, followed by a Funeral Service at the venue at 10.00am.

Interment will follow immediately at the Vaults & Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.

There will be post-funeral gathering at The Havillah Event Center at Oniru Estate, Lagos.

Deji died Thursday night after he had slumped while playing football with other members of the State Executive Council after the end of the second day of the Retreat for members of Lagos State Executive Council, body of Permanent Secretaries and directors in Epe.

His death sent shock waves across the sporting world and the political circles.
