Eastern Narrow Gauge Railway Project: Ground Breaking Ceremony Set For 9th March

The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON, and the  Honourable Minister of State for Transportation, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, cordially invite Stakeholders in the transportation sector and the general public to the ground breaking ceremony of the Eastern Narrow Gauge Railway project, Bonny Deep Seaport and Railway Industrial Park in Port Harcourt.

It will be performed by His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, the event will take place on March 9, 2021, at 11:00am at the Port Harcourt Railway Station, Odual Road, Station Bus-Stop, Port Harcourt, River State
