ECN DG Receives Kogi State APC Chairman & Reaffirms Commitment To Sustainable Energy Development

Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, FNSE, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), hosted Mr. Abdullahi Bello, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kogi State chapter, at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja on Monday, 6th January, 2025.  
The visit provided an opportunity for Dr. Abdullahi to present his vision and initiatives for advancing sustainable energy development in Nigeria. He emphasized the commission’s ongoing efforts to expand energy access, drive economic growth, and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Mr. Bello commended Dr. Abdullahi as a distinguished ambassador of Kogi State, recognizing his exceptional contributions to renewable energy innovations and the commission’s progress.
In his response, Dr. Abdullahi expressed gratitude for the chairman’s visit and kind words. He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering impactful initiatives and implementing strategic innovations in the months ahead.
