Edgal Imohimi Remains Lagos CP

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, who was said to have been redeployed to the Explosive Ordinance Unit of the Police Headquarters in Abuja remains as the Police boss in Lagos.
Mr. Edgal was supposed to hand over to Mr. Kayode Egbetokun today at the State Command but the hand over ceremony could not be performed as scheduled.
The latest development was said to be related with the appointment of a new Inspector General of Police.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered from Police sources that after the appointment of the Acting Inspector General, Mr. Abubakar Adamu Mohammed, he directed that the status quo should remain across Police formations for now.
Following the development, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun returned to the Police College while Mr. Edgal Imohimi addressed the newsmen that had gathered for the ceremony over the situation.
