The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, has congratulated the entire Muslim faithfuls in the LCDA on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The Council Chairman, in a statement on Saturday, rejoiced with the Muslims and wished them many happy returns of the celebration in Allah’s name.

He prayed that “The Almighty Allah accept all their supplications and that His divine blessings and mercies shall continue to envelop our dear LCDA, Lagos State and the Nation at large, so that security shall replace insecurity, prosperity shall chase away poverty, food availability and security shall supplant the current shortages”.

“May the reason for this season bring about a divine and lasting solution capable of catapulting our crises ridden country to a dawn of economic growth, social justice, peace and stability” Okeowo prayed.

He wished all who travelled during this festive holiday safe journey and urged them to be security conscious and be moderate in celebrating, never forget the less-privileged ones in their neighbourhood.
