Eid-el-Kabir: Odunmbaku Doles Out Rams, Cows, Rice, Cash To Constituents
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Executive Chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, has given out over 100 rams, cows, rice and cash gifts to his constituents for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Odunmbaku made these donations at his Constituency office at Budland, Ojodu area of the state to All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, who commended him for the kind gesture.
According to Odunmbaku, making people happy day and night is what gives him joy particularly given the need in the time of festivities.
Quoting Surah Al-Baqarah verse 110: “Be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity. Whatever good you send forth for your souls before you, you shall find it with Allah. For Allah sees well all that you do” (2:110), the Council Boss, Hon Odunmbaku enjoined privileged Nigerians to continue to support the needy at all times especially during festive moments.
