Posted on May 26, 2026

As Muslims the world over celebrate the Eid el Kabir, Senator Solomon Adeola, the senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has enjoined all Muslim faithful in his senatorial district and other Nigerians to pray for peace and the consolidation of the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his Eid-el- Kabir message to felicitate with adherents of the Islamic faith, the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate for Ogun State’s 2027 election said a strict adherence to the teachings of Islam in the areas of sacrifice, love, brotherliness, piousness and peaceful coexistence will significantly assist Nigeria in consolidating the observable gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda that is addressing the systemic challenges inherited by President Tinubu three years ago.
“As the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu prepares to marks its three year in office with acclaimed positive indicators of escaping total collapse of the economy and achievements in socio-economic gains expected to continue trickling down to the masses,  the nation needs security, peace, understanding and sacrifices to consolidate observable gains as well as deepen  ongoing reformist development initiatives of Renewed Hope Agenda” the senator stated.
While wishing all Muslim faithful at home and those in the Holy Land for Hajj a joyous celebration, the Senator Adeola said he will continue the effective representation that he is known for as a legislator among his constituents in Ogun West and elsewhere by ensuring that they continue to enjoy dividends of democracy through the Renewed Hope Agenda and his facilitated programmes in the area of education, provision of social amenities like roads, boreholes and transformers among other constituency empowerment programmes aimed at complementing efforts of government at all levels.
