He said, “Ekiti people have spoken and have chosen who they want, even though there were reports of voters inducement but notwithstanding Ekiti must move forward. Yesterday is gone, today is another day, let’s work towards a better tomorrow for our dear Ekiti.”

Adewale stressed that contrary to the public outrage and condemnation of voters, Ekiti people are the winner of the election because they still have the powers to elect another governor in four years to come after experiencing the incoming government.

Adewale then congratulated the governor-elect, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi on his electoral victory, charging him to implement peoples’ oriented projects that will have direct impact in the lives of the Ekiti Ketes.

While thanking the leadership of his party, ADP across the country, Adewale assured his numerous supporters in ADP and Ekiti State that he will not back down in his quest to govern the state as 2022 will present another opportunity for him to make himself available to lead the state.
