A member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and a legislator representing Ise/Orun Constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Hon. Alagbada Adeniran Ebenezer, the Majority Leader of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, announced the withdrawal of his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in a letter to the Chairman of the party in the state.
The legislator representing Ise/Orun Constituency, said that his decision was borne out of the passion to serve his people in a more conducive, peaceful and democratic environment devoid of insincerity, immorality, selfishness, greed and unequal distribution or allocation of public resources among others.

Hon. Alagbada further hinted that the new development was necessitated by the collective resolution of his people to switch his political platform from a party at its extremity to the nearest, where their yearnings and aspirations could be greatly achieved without deceit, molestation or harassment.
Hon. Alagbada used the medium to thank the PDP, Gov Peter Ayodele Fayose and his distinguished colleagues, for their love and cooperation during his stay in his former party – PDP. He promised to continue to contribute meaningfully towards the entrenchment of the rule of law in Ekiti State.
