Ekwunife Commiserates With Juhel Boss, Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye As He Buries Mother

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, Friday, February, 25, 2022, joined friends and well-wishers of the family of late Ichie Julius Okoye of Okpu-Ifite in Agulu, Anaocha LGA to pay the last respects to late Helena Okoye.
Late Lolo Okoye, who died at the age of 87 was until her death the mother of Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye. Dr. Okoye is a seasoned pharmacist, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Juhel Nigeria Limited.

The Requiem Mass which was held at Madonna Catholic Church, Agulu was officiated by the bishop of Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia, Most Rev Peter Ebere Okpaleke. Amongst the dignitaries present were the governor of Anambra state, HE Willie Obiano, Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uchenna Okafor amongst others.
In the sermon, Very Rev Fr. Linus Ibekwe extolled the virtues of the late Lolo Okoye, noting that she kept hold of the Catholic faith until her last breath. He further said that mothers are the unifiers in the family and their roles are very vital in the society.

Speaking further, the cleric charged the children to follow the good Christian path laid down by their mother and ensure they live in peace, harmony and love as siblings.
In her condolence message, Ekwunife noted that she was saddened by the irreplaceable loss, adding that she is offering her deepest sympathy to all those affected by the demise of the late Lolo Okoye. She noted that she had known the family for many years and that their late mother was a committed Christian who was caring and loving to those who crossed paths with her.

Continuing, the federal lawmaker prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Science Technology and Innovation further on behalf of her family and the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District extended condolences to Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye and the entire family of the deceased.
