Eletu Edibo Ramadan Cup Excites Lagos Island Football Fans

Many football fans on Lagos Island who have been watching the fifth edition of Prince Kazeem Eletu Edibo have expressed satisfaction with the organization, officiating and standard of the game played by participating teams since the tourney started two weeks ago at the Campos Mini Stadium Sports, Lagos Island.
Some of the fans who spoke to PM EXPRESS said they were satisfied with the large turnout of fans, while some said the competition has brought youth together on Lagos Island and its environs.
In her own comment, Coach Sherifat Temi said the competition has lived up to expectations in terms of organization and officiating, he urged the organizers not to relent on their effort.
She described the tourney as one of the best grassroots football competition on Lagos Island and urged the fans to shun violence that can tarnish the image of the competition.
“I am really impressed with the standard of the competition. I need to commend the effort of the organizers for the job well done. I am using this medium to urge the youth on Lagos Island to stay away from vices that can ruin this competition,” she said.
On her own part, Oluwasey Asore said the organizers have done a fantastic job by using the competition to bring youth together on Lagos Island. She said many football competitions are being organized on Lagos Island but Eletu Edibo Ramadan Cup is stand out.
“ My own comment is that Eletu Edibo Ramadan Cup has exposed many hidden talents on Lagos Island and I am happy that this competition is organized by football experts. I don’t want the tournament to end on time because I am here to catch fun,” she said.
A football fan, Jonathan Victor expressed happiness that the competition attracted thousand of youths who have been coming to the match venue to catch fun. He said the competition is officiated by cerified referees and well organized by experienced football organizers.
In the qurter fina matched played recently, Osapa FC lost 0-5 to Osapa United, Osapa All Stars walloped Agboye FC 4-0, while Dragon FC thrashed Asore 4-0 as Richo beat Orita Fashola FC 2-0.
In the asemi final pairings made available to P.M.EXPRESS , Osapa All Stars face Osapa United, while Dragon FC tackle Richo FC. The matches are scheduled for 27th May, 2019.
Match coordinator, Lateef Ojora thanked the fans for their patience and support given to the competition since it started. He said the orgainisers would continue to create a level playing ground for best team to emerge as champions.
