Empowerment: Tinubu Youth Family Movement Gifts N100k Each To 18 People In Lagos
A total of 18 people from various walks of life received a sum of N100,000 each as part of an empowerment programme initiated by the Olodode Youth Initiative, powered by the Tinubu Youth Family.
The empowerment programme was introduced to provide relief to vulnerable members of the Tinubu family, especially during a period of economic uncertainty where financial struggles and limited opportunities threaten the dreams of many.
Speaking at the event, which was held over the weekend at Lagos Island, the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the Tinubu Youth Family, Tinubu Akintunde Ahmed, explained that the initiative prioritizes education, entrepreneurship, and career growth among beneficiaries.
He emphasized that the programme was designed to support youths in the Tinubu family, regardless of their location in Nigeria.
“Today (Saturday), we extend financial aid to our students, ensuring that they have the resources to complete their education without undue hardship. But our vision goes beyond scholarships. We recognize the urgent need to empower artisans, traders, and professionals within our family.
“The challenge is not just about funding; it is about creating real opportunities, jobs, mentorship, and sustainable growth for the Tinubu family,” Ahmed stated.
Ahmed further highlighted that the Tinubu family is rich with talents, ambitious graduates, hardworking entrepreneurs, and professionals seeking the right opportunities.
He described the empowerment programme as a movement towards self-reliance and progress, one that would shape the future of the Tinubu family for generations to come.
He also assured that the empowerment programme would be a continuous exercise, provided there are sufficient donations to support vulnerable members of the Tinubu’s family.
“Let us commit to leveraging our networks, opening doors, and building a structure where empowerment is not just a one-time act but a continuous cycle of support,” said Ahmed who describes the Tinubu family as a generous and accommodating community since the colonial period.
