Ethnic Youth Groups Sue For Peace In Rivers State

The Expanded Leadership of Ethnic Youth Groups of Rivers State, also known as Rivers State Ethnic Youths Leaders Council (RSEYLC), met yesterday in Port Harcourt to appeal to His Excellency Sim Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, the Honourable Minister of FCT Abuja and other political actors in the state to give peace a chance. 

The youth leaders and Stakeholders of the Rivers State Ethnic Youth Groups also charged youths in the state to be peaceful and avoid acts that will throw the state into crisis.

The President General of RIvers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Council, Comr. Barinuazor Emmanuel, expressed satisfaction with the swift restoration of peace after the impeachment saga and called on politicians to join Rivers Youths to sue for peace for the betterment of all.

On his own part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), and Pioneer President-General of the Council, HRH Ambassador Bright-Abali, called on all political players in the political impasse to put the Peace and Development of Rivers State first above any other interests.
