Evangelist Christian Okwuogu Celebrates 25th Wedding Anniversary With Wife, Oluchi In Grand Style 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the event, which attracted dignitaries from both within and outside Lagos, was held at Mount Royal Center Hotel and Suites, Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos.

Those in attendance included friends,  family members led by Ozo Azubuike Okwuogu, friends and wellwishers under the Chairmanship of Chief Fidel Ononuju (Eziokwu Da Orimiri in Umuchu).

Other dignitaries in attendance included  the President General of Umuchu Imprisonment Union, (UIU) Lagos branch, Chief Osy Nwankwu, Igwe Umuchu top Cabinet member, Chief Chris Ezeoguine (Ogene in Umuchu) Ogbuehi Chibuike Offorma ( MD, Davison Global), Hon Uchenna Azikiwe, Dr Lawrence Uzoekwe, Ozo Azubuike Okwuogu, Chief Cyriacus Izuekwe (Crime Editor, P.M.EXPRESS) and his wife, Lolo Ifesinachi, Ogbuehi Raph Njirika, members of Ifunanya Age Grade led by Engr. Joe Ezeanya, captains of Industry, business partners of the celebrants and many others. The women’s wing was well represented led by their secretary, Lady Lucy Ikeh.

The event started with the celebration of Thanksgiving Mass at St. Michael Raphael And Gabriel Catholic Church, SatelliteTown, while the reception was held at Mount Royal.

Guests were serenaded with assorted drinks and food to their satisfaction spiced up with good music including Igbo Masquerades, which were also there to entertain the guests.

Dignitaries present were full of praises for the couple because of their examplary life of love and kindness to humanity. Many said that they were there to give them deserved honour and to pray for long life and prosperity for the family.

An excited Evang. Christian was full of gratitude to God for keeping and sustaining the marriage for those years. He described the wife, Oluchi, as his pillar who had been supporting the marriage with patience and genuine sacrifice over the years. He noted that the marriage has not been bed of roses but added that what has sustained it over the years was grace of God, prayer, patience and perseverance by both of them.

The climax of the event was the submission of their eldest child, Barrister Chisom Okwuogu, who described the couple as a typical example of good understanding and commitment to the service of God and humanity, which has been the bedrock of their successful marriage over the years.

He prayed that God should continue to support, guide and give the couple long life and good health to continue to enjoy their marriage.

The couple will always be remembered by all for their philanthropic nature,  service to humility and commitment to the things of God as the guests wished them more blissful years in marriage.
