Eze Jude Nnaemeka Arinze, Eze Ohazuruchi of Greenfield, Okota and Isolo, has returned to the Igbo Speaking Community Council of Ndieze recognized by the Board of Trustees in Lagos State after a long absence.

The development was confirmed by the Secretary of the Council, Eze John Nwosu, who said the monarch’s return has been formally accepted by the Council.

Following his comeback, Council members led by Eze Ephraim Nnaemeka warmly welcomed Eze Odumodu back to the fold. The BOT also officially welcomed him to the mainstream of the Council of Ndieze in Lagos State.

In a welcome message, the Chairman of the BOT, ISC Lagos, Dr. Jonathan Nnaji, expressed joy and profound respect over the monarch’s return

“It is with joy and profound respect that I warmly welcome His Highness, Eze Odumodu, back to the Council of Eze Ndigbo, Lagos, where he truly belongs”, Dr. Nnaji stated.

Dr. Nnaji heaped praises on the monarch, describing him as a towering figure in the Igbo traditional institution.

“Your return after a long absence is a source of happiness to many of us who hold you in the highest esteem. Eze Odumodu is a man of rare wisdom, unquestionable honour, deep humility, and vast experience. He is a beacon of unity and a stabilizing force among Ndigbo in Lagos”, he said.

The BOT Chairman added that Eze Odumodu’s presence will elevate the Council. “Your wealth of knowledge, tested leadership, and fatherly disposition will undoubtedly enrich the Council and contribute immensely to its growth, unity, peace, and progress. You are a royal father whose counsel has always brought clarity in times of uncertainty. We are confident that your return will strengthen our noble objectives and restore greater harmony within our ranks” Dr. Nnaji said.

“Once again, Your Highness, you are most sincerely welcome back to your home. We look forward to your valuable contributions, wise counsel, and the royal grace you bring. May your return usher in a new era of advancement and unity for the Council” he concluded.

Eze John Nwosu, the Secretary of the Council, confirmed that Eze Jude Nnaemeka Arinze, Eze Ohazuruchi, Eze Ndigbo of Greenfield, Okota and Isolo, has officially returned to the Council after his long absence.

Eze Nwosu, who is also Chairman of the Council of Elders of Igbo Speaking Community, praised Eze Odumodu’s impact.

“Eze Odumodu’s coming back to the Council is very significant. He is a royal father of integrity, a custodian of Igbo culture, and a leader of uncommon foresight. He will add immense value to the Council with his wealth of experience, knowledge, and deep understanding of our people. His return is a blessing to Ndigbo in Lagos”, Eze Nwosu said.

The Council of Ndieze, ISC Lagos, remains the recognized body of Igbo traditional rulers in Lagos under the supervision of the BOT.

It appears that the decamping season may have began from Council of Ndieze unrecognized by the BOT of Igbo Speaking community.
